Jeff has provided us with an update after tragedy struck Everest. First, he has passed along that he is alright.
After an avalanche on Everest, 18-20 people have died on the Khumba ice fall. Rescuers have recovered 14 bodies and they have been flown off the mountain. The search is under way for the remaining 6 bodies. The remaining 6 will most likely be left behind as rescue is not feasible.
Jeff and his group are preparing for their pass, and because of the change in circumstances they will be forced to pass the Khumba ice fall 4 times.
We all wish Jeff well as he continues his journey.
