Pinellas County Sheriff Arrests 14 in "Operation White Pony"

The Narcotics Division of the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office, along with other law enforcement agencies, have arrested 14 individuals as part of “Operation White Pony.”

The operation targeted individuals and groups connected to the distribution of multiple kilos of cocaine and heroin in Pinellas County.  The operation was a multi-county investigation which began in April 2014.  Those arrested were located in Pinellas County, Hillsborough County, Arizona, and Puerto Rico.

Law enforcement initiated the operation to target a large drug trafficking organization in the Tampa Bay area.  Investigators targeted lower level dealers and used those individuals to track down larger scale dealers and suppliers.  Along with drug arrests, law enforcement also seized nearly $90,000.00 in cash and 14 handguns.
