Who Actually Won The Fight?
Apparently bringing a gun to a fist fight does not decide the winner. A fight this morning over whether someone could lawfully leave a gas station in Tampa ended with both people being transported to the hospital. The parties, who shall remain nameless, began arguing when Mr. D attempted to leave the gas station while Mr. A blocked the door with his bicycle.
Apparently, Mr. A had a gun and during the argument decided that instead of moving his bicycle he would do the reasonable thing and pulled the gun on Mr. D – who was simply trying to leave the gas station. In what can be described as nothing more than “unusual,” a physical struggle ensued. As a result, Mr. D was shot in the hand, and somehow even with a gun available Mr. A ended up with a broken ankle. Both were transported to the hospital for their injuries.
Not the best start to the day, but a valuable lesson was learned. Next time, just move your bike!
